It sounds crazy yes. However this is truly the title and premise of this blog post. Can Men Over 50 wear jeans? When we received this question, we thought the answer was glaringly obvious. We were wrong. In other words, there is a thought piece on this particular subject.

Our attention was drawn to this question after a Morts & More Moment viewer wrote in to discuss a study that had been carried out. Men should not wear jeans if they are over the age of 50. The conclusion of a survey in the conducted in the UK. “An interesting conclusion”, this can only way we could described it. Our first thought was how big was the study and who were the people surveyed.

    Yes, Yes, Yes! However, a mature man needs to shy away from typer trendy jeans and stay within a sane range of classic jeans. A mature guy may be able to fit into a pair of super skinny jeans or other trendy fashion jeans but why would he? It looks just as pathetic for a mature guy to be wearing trendy young mens oriented fashion as it does for a 30 plus year old woman to be dressing in clothes appropriate for an 18 year old. When I see a woman doing that I think she is a pathetic fool trying to look as is she is 18 – we all know she isn’t. A mature guy is equally foolish to be wearing extreme fashion trends popular with teenagers. Stick to classic cut and color jeans.
